To obtain a dog license from the City Treasurer’s office the following items are needed:
- proof of current rabies vaccination
- spay/neuter paperwork if applicable.
Fees:
- $1.00 for seniors 60 or over for a period of 1 year
- $5.00 for non-seniors senior if the dog is spayed/neutered for a period of 1 year
- $10 for intact for a period of 1 year
Registration:
Dogs need to be registered yearly between May 1st and June 30th. If a dog owner registers their pet after June 30th, the fees double, with the exception of seniors, they only pay $1.00 even if they register late.
